Fundraising & Grant Writing Intern
Position Overview
The Fundraiser/Writer will combine strategic fundraising skills with exceptional writing abilities to generate resources that support GoodBot’s mission. This role involves creating content, developing persuasive proposals, and fostering relationships through impactful communication. Fundraising must also take into account a rapidly changing geopolitical context.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, business, public relations, fundraising or a related field.
Experience in nonprofit fundraising and grant writing.
Exceptional English written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Passion for GoodBot’s mission and social impact.
Responsibilities
Grant Writing:
Research, identify, and apply for grants from foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
Craft compelling grant proposals and reports, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and objectives.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of grant opportunities and deadlines.
Fundraising Strategy
Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies to diversify funding sources.
Collaborate with the leadership team to identify potential donors, partners, and funding opportunities.
Provide insights on fundraising best practices and trends.
Direct Fundraising
Identifying individuals and organizations that could be prospects for
Research and Analysis:
Stay informed about industry trends, funding opportunities, and potential partners.
Conduct prospect research to identify new funding opportunities and strategic partnerships.
